Let me start off by saying that this very first chapter was a BLAST to write up. Man, so many emotions showed through I think. I've been awake for a very long time, but I don't think it has hurt my quality any. These are the unedited manuscripts of HS - A Discontinuation (name up for debate still, obviously). In this first post you will find chapter 1... or a prologue of sorts. Don't worry, no prior knowledge of anything is needed. This sort of takes place in a custom/completely original universe centered around Hogwarts Station posters. I cannot assure everyone will get a cameo, as there should and will be a primary storyline, but I will write what I theorize as I go along. Regardless, without further ado: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hogwarts Station - A Discontinuation - Chapter 1 “What are you doing, Sinead?” asked Matt, taking a step toward the girl who seemed to be undecided as to whether or not she was going to jump off of the cliff she was facing. “I'm tired of all of this Matt, piss tired of it!” she yelled, the echo that was created from her scream rumbled the rocks of the cliff, some of them falling to the canyon below. “Ever since I bit you-- it hasn't been the same! You risked your life to save me, you gave part of yourself away when you brought Nara back, why do you continue to help us?” “Sinead... I love you, don't do this, take a step back from that cliff,” his voice became very stern and his azure irises shifted to a very light green. “You were miserable as a ghost, Sinead. I couldn't leave you that way, you cried every night!” “Then what about Nara!” she screamed again, her voice began to pierce into Matt's very heart. “You didn't give her a choice, she was happy that way! You brought her back and she lost a leg and an arm! You bring me back and I bite you, taking your very life from you, yet all you can do is think about saving me here again, on this very cliff face.” Tears as clear as crystals began to rain from her eyes, running down her face's thin frame, dripping from her jaw to the dry ground below creating small puddles. “You're not human anymore, and it's my fault. I'm sorry.” Sinead's knees buckled beneath her as she took a step toward the cliff and fell forward. Her frail body began to tumble down the canyon. All she could think about was how Matt had risked his life to kill her father and save her from being sacrificed to an old Death God thought to be the reincarnate of Voldemort himself. Her tears fell along side her, still streaming from her beautiful green eyes. Why had she jumped again? What was the reason for this, she asked herself again. Was it because she loved him, but he loved Nara instead? Was it because he never really understood how much it had hurt her to take away his life in exchange for her own? It didn't matter anymore, she was destined to hit ground soon, she wouldn't survive from this height, she had made sure of the distance before she walked out this far from the Castle. Her descent brought her plummeting toward the ground and all she could do was continue to repeat 'I'm sorry..' and close her blood shot, tear ridden eyes. Matt stood at the top of the cliff, standing in horror at the sight he had just witnessed. She had fallen, rather stepped, directly off of the cliff without any warning and he had just stood there, he couldn't act, he didn't know what to do. He ran over to the edge of the cliff and looked down. She was still falling, back first, hands clutched to her chest like she was praying. His keen senses told him that she was repeating that she was sorry and he could see the tears streaming down alongside her like rain. Without hesitation Matt dove head first off of the cliff and apparated under Sinead wrapping his arms around her and hugging her tightly. “You're so stupid,” he muttered as his own eyes began to swell with tears. “I can't save you every time.” “Why... why did you jump after me?” Sinead coughed through tears, her eyes were completely red and her cheeks began to flush with blood. “Because, Sinead.. I refuse to live without--” Before he could finish his last words, their bodies slammed into the ground that was once beneath them. The scene was gruesome; crimson spattered the rocks and began to cloud the shallow creek flowing between the great cliffs on either side. Their bodies were twisted and tangled within one another, their faces lay directly across from one another, their green eyes staring blankly at each other's general direction, blood dripping from either of Matt's irises. Sinead's face could barely be made out from the mess that was created when they crashed but her body had been spared of most damage. Matt's body was completely crushed and most of the blood spattering the area had belonged to him. An ironic death, don't you think, Matthew? A hazy voice drifted into his thoughts, challenging his very existence. To be shunned by the very woman you love most. To slay oneself twice for her life and be completely ignored to the bitter end! You are pathetic! He tried to ignore the voice, he wanted to focus on the pain he was feeling, he wanted to see if Sinead was alive, he couldn't hear her breathing, he couldn't feel her heart beat. Alas, he couldn't move, he only lay there and listen to the voice ringing inside his head. Tragic isn't it? You should have left her be the first time, maybe Nara would have been more accepting of your love? Maybe she would have accepted your desperate need for attention, hm? Matt wanted nothing more than to stop hearing this voice, but he could not stop it. Why don't you check to see if she's alive, Matthew? Oh, can't move I see. What a pity, at this rate she'll at least bleed to death from the wound in the back of her skull. Matt couldn't do anything, he struggled to move but his limbs would not budge. He began to feel very tired. He resisted. Don't resist, give in Matthew, it is time to let Death embrace you. It is time to allow yourself to be sacrificed. Wait, did he just say sacrificed? Yes, I'm sure that's what he said. Matt opened his eyes one last time before he fell unconscious from blood loss; in his view lay Sinead's crippled body and... wait... was there.. Very difficult to explain. In the RP in 2005ish, Sinead was turned into a vampire somehow.. come on.. this isn't Twilight, alright? Anyhow, Matt got bitten and when he was bitten all of Sinead's 'powers/immortality' and stuff was transferred to Matt. So she's now just a normal human being but Matt developed the ability to apparate within Castle limits, his eyes began to change color and he was very resistant to damage. He still has blood and stuff, it's just a curse, not really a vampire thing.
Well, I am devoted to only 1 chapter a week. If I start giving 3 a week I'll run out of material. o.o This is also what my reserved posts are for. I want input from my readers so you guys can get what you want. I'd like to give you answers to the questions you ask and what not. I am not the greatest writer, I understand that, but the only way to get better is to read.. read and write. Edited by Matt Perry, Dec 20 2009, 05:04 PM.

Oh, I think I remember that storyline you guys were rping with way back when. Hey didn't someone have a HS story with you guys as good guys and bad guys? Some where Aruros (or whatever the spelling is) and were trying to capture someone. Almost everyone had a cameo in it. |

Fandall's amazing HS FanFic found a way to put everyone into the story, basically everyone, even GryffindorBaby got a cameo. My story is completely different. |

David's was amazing. I miss it. My character kicked ass. Mathew yours is just as wonderful. I really like it. It jumped out of the screen for me. I was like "OMG WHAT WAS THERE!!" and its 3:41 am. my mom woke up and was like "wtf Chrissy, get to bed" lol. Love it. Edited by Fairy Fabulous, Dec 21 2009, 01:44 AM.

Well, I am definitely glad you have enjoyed the first installment of my HS series. This will very different than David's. I can't really give much info on what kinds of ideas I have, because I don't want to ruin the story for me or for you guys, but.. It won't be all sunshine and roses at the end of the day.
Yeah, I think he was, really do wish he'd get in contact again, maybe HS being at .net will lure him back at some point. I am also very glad that you are awaiting my story time. Please, anyone feel free to throw out ideas, questions or comments. That's what this is here for.  -Perry |
