I joined to follow Stephen Fry on there.. He's awesome and his tweets are ever so entertaining. I tweeted a little and then promptly forgot about it.. Not so much my kind of thing. |

Maybe I'll start tweeting if they changed the name to something less puerile...I mean, I don't want to known as a twat or a tweetiepie or whatever. Now if they changed the name from Twitter to Baboner, I'd be more interested. "Yo man, did you catch my baboner last week? Nah, I'll be babonering till I'm exhausted tonight" |

Under that fatalistic argument every networking site is faulty, so let's just shut down the internet and play solitaire. I might be biased. Seldom I tweet with english speakers, it's mostly Colombians around the world which I either find interesting, want to keep in contact with, or just follow as to become informed of what's happening in the C countraaaaay. Yeah. |

Fatalistic as that comment may be, doesn't make it any less true or needed to be said. And you're jumping the gun by assuming what I said means that they might as well don't exist. Your argument is invalid anyway Vamp, because I said something about posers and false celebrities.. You use it to keep in contact with friends and stuff.. I use facebook for that too, doesn't mean I like it any less thanks to there being fakers on fb too. |

Please clarify, I got somewhat confused. I'm arguing that false celebrities and posers are a lost cause, for they invade every other online arena. Judging Twitter based on that would be unjust, and its negative effect on the development of the website should be cancelled from the equation as it affects all other networking giants. Ah, that's where you got confused.. I wasn't judging twitter based on that.. I just thought I'd mention the obvious. Tweeting being just alright is because tbh, I don't see why there is a need for it when almost everyone is already using facebook and offers almost the same thing in their "Status updates". |
